About this blog
I had an epiphany the other day. I go to a lot of concerts. Why don't I put my thoughts and photos into a concert blog?
Lots of people have blogs about things they know about and love. In truth, I have another blog, but it's anonymous and I use it as a focused way to journal and sort out my thoughts, figure things out and explore ideas. Maybe someone else out there will be helped with it, I don't know. Please don't ask me for the URL. It needs to stay anonymous.
But I've thought and toyed with the idea of writing a blog for many years.
But I've thought and toyed with the idea of writing a blog for many years.
I was going to start DailyDepeche.com and even bought the domain I spent tons of time designing it and laying it out, making notes for things to add to it, creating tags. But I never wrote a word. Never made a single post. I had a minor identity crisis over it. I think I had my ambitions too high and I wanted to do too much and I'm a perfectionist. Therefore I did none.
Maybe someday.
Then I was going to start one called SacredDM.com when SacredDM.net went offline. I even bought the domain (again...GoDaddy has a lot of my money for things I never used) and friends and I saved all the info (Thank you WayBackMachine!). I never got around to it because it was overwhelming (again) and I was unemployed at the time and too busy getting divorced and looking for work and managing life. Fortunately that information lives on here. (Thanks Linda)
Honestly the idea of writing a blog where people I know will actually read it is rather terrifying. But this, this is something I can write about where I'm okay if people I know read it.
I'll write about concerts I've been to recently and post photos. Maybe write about ones I've been to a long time ago, or future ones coming up. It's all very loosey goosey.
Enjoy!
